Warehouse Records Associate

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Warehouse Records Associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities including retrievals, destructions, internal moves, permanent withdrawals and any special projects requested. This is a labor-intensive position that requires heavy lifting up and down ladders as well as a keen eye for details.

Responsibilities:

  • Process all types of daily incoming work orders and rush orders from Client Services; scan carton barcodes and locations
  • Scan all incoming containers, files and tapes each morning to the work order and pallet tag and notify your supervisor of any discrepancies
  • Retrieve files, containers, and tapes on a daily basis
  • Assist in loading and unloading company trucks and vans
  • Ensure regular scanner communication and process steps are completed daily for assigned work orders
  • Inspect and maintain all equipment, including Scanner and all record center vehicles
  • Responsible for space allocation to maximize warehouse capacity and efficiency
  • Maintain assigned racking and row upkeep
  • Communicate any difficult order issues to manager
  • Observe safety procedures, including containers/lids replaced and repaired, floors free of debris, and report any safety issues to direct supervisor
  • Perform Back-up Driver duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Safe work record and stable work history
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year experience in a warehouse/physical atmosphere and/or team-focused environment
  • Must have an acceptable driving record (+ points on DMV driving record)
  • Basic computer skills required for data entry and research purposes
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to follow through until completion in timely fashion are critical for this position
  • Capable of completing basic troubleshooting of analytical problems
  • Ability to complete paperwork accurately and completely understand the importance of detail and accuracy
  • Work requires nearly continuous walking, standing, overhead reaching and some periodic climbing of ladders and stairs. Materials weighing up to 75+lbs are handled throughout the shift
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions
  • Forklift and/or picker certification a plus
  • Demonstrates high integrity, honesty and trustworthiness
  • Successful completion of comprehensive background check at time of application and throughout employment
  • Successful completion of drug testing in accordance with company policies and applicable law
